Results

The results of HESTIA will be developed through two key Work Packages (WPs), ensuring a structured and effective approach to integrating sustainable practices and digital technologies into the construction sector.

Sustainable practices and technology for the construction sector: best practices, identification and study visits

This work package focuses on identifying and analyzing best practices in sustainable construction through research and study visits. The key results include:

  • A comprehensive report on successful case studies, providing valuable insights to support the development of practical training materials.
  • A network of collaborations with industry partners and educational institutions, documented in a directory to facilitate ongoing knowledge exchange.
  • The creation of educational materials on BIM and Digital Twin technologies, designed to equip trainers with the necessary skills.
  • A detailed report on field study visits, offering first-hand observations and lessons learned from real-world applications of sustainable construction.

Development and validation of training materials in sustainable construction practices and digital technologies

This work package focuses on the creation and assessment of training resources to support the adoption of sustainable construction practices and digital technologies. The main results include:

  • Training Path (Training Capsules) – A structured learning framework with modular content tailored to industry needs.
  • Assessment Tools – Evaluation methods to measure knowledge acquisition and the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Pilot Evaluation Report – A comprehensive analysis of the training implementation, assessing its impact and areas for improvement.
